1. Promoter

2. Promotion Period

The promotion commences at 7:00pm AEST 9 October 2026 and closes at 12:00pm AEST on 15 October 2026 (Promotion Period).

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, its related companies, agencies and suppliers involved in this promotion, and their immediate families.

The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of age, identity and residency at any time.

4. How to enter

To enter, during the Promotion Period, entrants must:

1. Follow @balterbrewers and @rollingsetsfestival on Instagram;
2. Tag the three friends they would take to Rolling Sets in the comments of the promotional post; and
3. Tell us who is the beer connoisseur of their group and why.

Entrants may also share the promotional post to their Instagram Stories to help spread the word about the promotion. Sharing the post to Stories is optional and does not constitute an additional entry or increase an entrant’s chances of winning.

Entries must be original, relevant to the promotion and submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, illegible, offensive, inappropriate, defamatory or otherwise does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Entrants are responsible for ensuring their entry is successfully submitted. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, illegible or otherwise unable to be processed for any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.

5. Judging

This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.

Entries will be judged by representatives of the Promoter based on the creativity, originality and entertainment value of the entrant’s response to the question: “Who is the beer connoisseur of the group – and why?”

The most creative and compelling eligible entry, as determined by the judges, will win the prize.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result.

6. Winner

The winner will be selected at 3:00pm AEST on 15 October 2026.

The winner will be announced by the Promoter via a comment on the original Instagram promotional post and/or the corresponding Facebook post.

The Promoter will not contact the winner via direct message on Instagram or Facebook to notify them that they have won.

The winner must contact the Promoter using the instructions provided in the winner announcement within 48 hours of being announced to claim the prize.

If the winner does not claim their prize within 48 hours, or is found to be ineligible, the Promoter may select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries.

7. Prize

One prize package will be awarded to one selected winner. The prize package includes:

• 4 x VIP tickets to Rolling Sets 2026, valued at $335 each (total value $1,340), with the winner able to choose either the Tweed Heads or Newcastle event, subject to availability;
• 4 x Balter merch packs, each comprising 1 x Balter hat (valued up to $55), 1 x Balter T-shirt (valued up to $60), 1 x Balter bag (valued at $50) and 1 x Balter stubby cooler (valued at $10), with a total value of $700 for the four merch packs;
• 1 x case of Balter beer, valued at $70; and
• Guest list access for four people to the Balter rooftop at the selected Rolling Sets event.

The total prize value is up to $2,110 AUD, excluding the value of the Balter rooftop guest list access.

The prize package will be sent or provided to the selected winner, who is responsible for distributing or sharing the applicable prize components with their three nominated guests.

The winner may choose either the Tweed Heads or Newcastle Rolling Sets event, subject to VIP ticket and rooftop availability.

The prize is for the winner and three guests. The winner is responsible for ensuring that all guests attending the event meet any applicable age and entry requirements.

Tickets are subject to the terms and conditions of the event organiser and venue. The Promoter is not responsible for any changes to, postponement or cancellation of the event.

The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash, except where required by law.

8. Alcohol prize

The alcohol component of the prize is only available to the winner if the winner is aged 18 years or over and can provide satisfactory proof of age if requested by the Promoter.

The alcohol prize must not be sold or supplied to anyone under 18 years of age. Responsible consumption is encouraged.

The Promoter may substitute the alcohol prize with a prize of equivalent value where required by law or where delivery of the alcohol prize is not reasonably practicable.

9. General conditions

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants, including an entrant’s identity, age and eligibility, and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted or otherwise unable to be received or processed for any reason.

Entrants are responsible for their own costs associated with entering the promotion and attending Rolling Sets, including travel, accommodation, meals and any other expenses not expressly included in the prize.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the promotion or acceptance or use of the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

10. Instagram and Facebook

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Facebook.

By entering this promotion, entrants release Instagram and Facebook from any responsibility or liability arising from or in connection with the promotion.

Entrants acknowledge that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Instagram or Facebook.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with this promotion will be handled by the Promoter in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Personal information may be collected for the purpose of administering the promotion, verifying eligibility, contacting the winner and fulfilling the prize.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By entering this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions should be read together with any instructions or information relating to the promotion published by the Promoter on its website or social media channels.
