Balter Brewery is a modern industrial space located in the heart of Currumbin.
The large minimally designed stainless steel tanks provide a unique and modern backdrop for all types of events such as birthday parties, bucks and hens parties, corporate events, anniversary celebrations and other private events.

Are you holding a large scale event? The Balter Brewery has a capacity for up to 200 people within the entire venue. Most of the venues seating and furniture can be rearranged to suit different needs. We have projectors, TV’s and MC equipment for use upon request at an additional fee. Feeling hungry thinking about all those beers? We are happy to organise a food truck for your event or you are welcome to arrange outside catering.

The Balter Brewery outdoor area features a fun, casual aesthetic filled with wicker style furniture and bench seating atop astro turf. The outdoor area is fitted with misting fans to keep patrons cool in those steamy summer months.

The Balter Brewery Upper Mezzanine area provides a birds eye view of the entire brewery. This space is ideal for smaller groups who would like a semiprivate space whilst still being able to enjoy the vibe of the tap house. We recommend this space for birthdays and bucks parties.

Can I organize a DJ/Live music?
Balter Brewery has the space for live entertainment, however like most licensed venues - we must adhere to strict noise restrictions.
We are happy to work with the entertainers to make sure you can enjoy a great night of music without disrupting the neighbours.
How do we go about organising food?
If your event falls on a Wednesday through Sunday - chances are that we already have a food truck booked for the day.
We book in these vendors 3-4 months in advance to secure their placement and we can happily provide you with the details of what food truck will be there on the day.
If you wish to change the food truck to have your own - this may be possible, however a fee will apply.
If you wish to bring in your own catering - we are happy to work with you. If cocktail service is required, an additional fee may be required to cover extra staff.
How does the TAB system work?
Every booking includes a healthy bar tab for you and your guests to enjoy our world class frothy goodness.
When booking the Alleyway, Upper or Lower Mezzanine the venue hire fee is considered a minimum spend so you will find the entire amount on the bar as a tab. If booking the entire venue there is a nominated amount included in your venue hire fee.
If you decide to extend the Tab, you may either pre-pay a set amount or leave a credit card on file to be settled at the end of the night.
How do I organise the Deposit?
We take most Credit/Debit cards over the phone or come down to the venue at a pre-arranged time, there is no surcharge.
Please note the Balance must be paid at Least 24 hours before your event
Can I make a tentative booking?
Yes, but to secure any booking a deposit must be made.
